Welcome to the

The North Staffordshire Allotment Network

As a passionate community organisation...

We represent and champion allotment gardeners in North Staffordshire, stepping into the shoes of the erstwhile City Forum. We’re proud to say that the National Society recognises us as the definitive voice of allotment gardening in our area.

ABOUT THE NSAN

Boasting around 80 allotment sites within the heart of Stoke-on-Trent City, we have one of the highest concentrations of allotment sites per capita nationwide. Although we face challenges with land development and disuse causing a decrease in allotments, we’re encouraged by the flourish of interest in allotment gardening, particularly among women, young families, and those who appreciate ‘food you can trust’.

HERE AT NSAN...

We’re firmly rooted in the belief that allotments hold the potential to rejuvenate our surroundings, transforming into lively, urban community hubs tailored to our modern lives. Just as importantly, we are committed to safeguarding the heritage and cultural value of allotments in our beloved region.
Enrich your NSAN experience by joining our monthly meetings, open to all plot holders. Stay informed with copies of meeting minutes and get all the finer details about upcoming gatherings from our website or by reaching out to the Network Secretary.
