Welcome to the North Staffs Allotments Network

The North Staffordshire Allotment Network (NSAN) represent the National Society of Allotments and Leisure Gardeners in North Staffordshire. Although initially we covered the sites in Stoke on Trent, we also welcome plot holders from Newcastle under Lyme, Talke and Kidsgrove and parts of Staffordshire Moorlands.

 

• We work with the Local Authorities to encourage investment and promote the development of the service.
• Support plot holders and site secretaries though a monthly allotments ‘Problem Surgery’ in partnership with Stoke City Council
• Support sites across the wider North Staffordshire area to go self managed with advice and information
• Run the Stoke City annual allotments competition - we hope to extend this to include Staffordshire Moorlands, Newcastle under Lyme, Stafford Borough and Talke & Kidsgrove sites in 2009
• Attend events and shows to promote allotment gardening
• Arrange local training courses and visits to other sites and shows across the country
